Penney Retirement Community's fulfillment of its mission has resulted in a community that:

values "community" in all of its meanings

provides a continuum of care and services

includes a unique program of volunteerism and participation by its residents

fosters achievement and maximum dignity of residents

promotes the social, physical, psychological and spiritual well being of residents.

ADMISSIONS CONSIDERATIONS

Age. Entering Residents must be from fifty-five to eighty-five years of age.

Christian Community. Penney Retirement Community is an inclusive Christian Community.

Volunteerism. Serving others through volunteerism has been part of the Penney Retirement Community philosophy from its earliest beginning and it is hoped that new residents will share the philosophy and practice.

Health. All new residents enter Penney Retirement Community in an independent living environment. One's health and physical condition should be such that a medical doctor would reasonably expect the candidate to live in an independent environment for five or more years.

Financial Position. Penney Retirement Community financial guidelines will be presented in a personal interview.
